Diepenheim is located in the municipality of Hof van Twente, on the border of the Twente region and the Gelderse Achterhoek. The village is set in a wooded area characterized by its many castles and country estates (including Huis Diepenheim, Warmelo, Weldam and Nijenhuis). This makes it an ideal area for numerous cycling and walking routes in and around Diepenheim.
There are also several larger cities within driving distance, such as Deventer, Zutphen, Hengelo and Enschede perfect for a day out.
