House Rules

To ensure a pleasant stay for you and the other guests, the following house rules have been drawn up.

Neighbors

Bed and Breakfast DiepenHuus is located in the village center of Diepenheim, and we therefore ask our guests to be considerate of the residents and other guests.

Reservation

When making a reservation, the correct number of persons per night must always be specified. Room reservations are subject to availability.

Maximum Room Occupancy

Bed and Breakfast DiepenHuus has three rooms available for 2 adults.

In one of our rooms (Upstairs), an extra bed is available for a child, minimum age 12 years.

In the event of a violation of the number of persons indicated on the reservation form, 100% of the overnight rate will be charged per person, in addition to the already due overnight costs.

Check-in

Check-in is possible between 15:00 and 18:00. You must indicate your expected arrival time no later than one day before arrival, so that someone is always present to welcome you.

Check-out

Check-out takes place between 08:00 and 10:00 on the day of departure.

Key management

Upon arrival, you will receive a key to the apartment for your stay. You are responsible for locking the doors of your accommodation and for switching off the lights and any air conditioning. The key must be returned upon check-out.

Lost Key

A fee of €25.00 will be charged for the loss of a key.

Breakfast

Breakfast, if reserved, will be served in your accommodation so that you can enjoy it in peace and privacy.

Kitchen Appliances

It is not permitted to bring your own household appliances into our apartments.

This includes, among other things: (gas) hotplates, deep fryers, air fryers, pizzars, and gourmet fondue sets. It is also not permitted to connect heaters without prior consultation.

Bed Linen and Towels

For longer stays, individual arrangements will be made regarding the request for clean towels, clean bed linen, cleaning, and breakfast.

Hygiene Guarantees

It is not permitted to sleep in the beds without sheets and pillowcases. In the event that non-removable stains occur on the mattress, duvet, pillows, or towels during the overnight stay, Bed and Breakfast DiepenHuus will charge the guest for the resulting cleaning and/or replacement costs.

Prices

The prices include gas, water, electricity, and bed/bath linen. Breakfast can be booked separately for an additional fee.

The use of coffee and tea is free.

Free use of Wi-Fi, television, and parking facilities in the vicinity of the accommodation.

In the unlikely event that services such as television and/or Wi-Fi do not function or do not function properly during your stay, this does not entitle the guest to a refund of the entirety or part of the room rate due.

Noise

We ask our guests to refrain from making noise in the room they have rented. All music and any other sound produced in any manner must be kept to room volume so that no noise disturbance is caused to other guests and neighbors. Music is not permitted from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

We request that guests be mindful of noise disturbances throughout the entire property.

Waste

You may dispose of trash in the designated waste bins.

Pets

Unfortunately, pets are not welcome.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms. Smoking is permitted outside on the balcony and/or terrace by prior arrangement, provided that others are not disturbed. The grounds must remain cigarette-free; therefore, cigarettes must be disposed of in the ashtrays provided. Burning candles in the apartment is not permitted.

Alcohol and (soft) drugs

Alcohol abuse is not permitted, so enjoy yourself but drink in moderation. It is prohibited at Bed and Breakfast DiepenHuus to possess, use, and/or trade drugs.

Internet

We offer you a free Wi-Fi network. The user shall refrain from visiting websites of an unlawful nature or that are inconsistent with our policy. Upon observation or suspicion of nuisance caused by third parties and/or (other) internet abuse by the user, Bed and Breakfast DiepenHuus has the right, without further notice, to block access to the internet and refuse access to the room without refund of the accommodation costs. If necessary, we may notify the appropriate authorities.

Damage

We are in no way liable for any form of damage, loss, or theft that you suffer or experience during your stay. Should damage be caused to the rooms or their furnishings during your stay, you must notify us.

Nuisance

In the event of any form of nuisance, Bed and Breakfast DiepenHuus is entitled to deny you further access to the room and the grounds without providing reasons.
